Introduction
This world event of taiji and wushu will be held in the Edmonton area. Two
separate events will take place during the week. The first event is the
Demo-petition. This is an event when participants are judged and corrected
at the same time. The second event will be the informal workshops and
seminars which will include topics such as taiji forms, push-hands, taiji
and medicine, and competition wushu forms.
Demo-petition
The first two days will be "Demo-petition" of both taiji and
wushu. During this event, participants will be judged by a panel of
experts on his/her own merit. The judges will give the participants
specific and detailed comments and hands on corrections on site. A written
copy of the comments from judges will be given to the participants at the
end of the event. The participants will be scored on a 1-10 scale based on
the standardized requirements of taiji and wushu. Participants will not be
judged against other participants.

Xiuqian
Beijing, China
Daughter of Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang. Second generation master
of Hunyuantaiji system. She has been one of Grandmaster Feng's
teaching assistants for many years. She is the secretary of the famous
Beijing Zhiqiang Wuguan (martial Arts Academy). She has accompanied
Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang on many of his international and national
trips.
She will be teaching seminars on the Hunyuantaiji system.

Enjiu
Jinan, China
Disciple of Grandmaster Hong Junsheng. He was one of the few
privileged disciples of Grandmaster Hong to be acting as his teaching
assistants. He was the president of Jinan Martial Arts Academy, the
first of its kind in China since 1966. Through his collaboration with
other masters and under the guidance of Grandmaster Hong Junsheng, he
was instrumental in training many of the 20th generation disciples in
Jinan to be Chinese national push-hands champions. He produced more
than 26 gold medallists, making his a true champion of champions.
He will be giving a seminar on international push-hands competition.

Disciple of Grandmaster Hong Junsheng and Grandmaster Feng
Zhiqiang. He is the host and main seminar master at this event. He
will be giving seminars on Hunyuanqigong, Fangsonggong, Hunyuan forms,
Chen Style Forms and traditional push hands methods.

China.
She was a many time Chinese champion in Wushu and taiji. She
has been a long time member of the famous Shandong Wushu team.
Currently she is completing her martial arts degree at the Shandong
Martial Arts Academy.

Regina, Canada
Disciple of Chen Zhonghua. He has won many Canadian and
international taiji competitions including several in China.
He will be giving a seminar in taiji and massage therapy.

Hong
Ottawa, Canada
Disciple of Chen Zhonghua. He is a noted martial artist in North
America. He won many Canadian, American and international competitions
in the 1980s. He will be assisting Chen Zhonghua in the workshops.

Seidman
New York
Disciple of Chen Zhonghua. He studied taiji in China for many
years from many noted masters. Recently he has been studying
Hunyuantaiji system from Chen Zhonghua and Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang.
He is also a doctor of Chinese medicine, graduated from the Guangxi
University of Chinese Medicine.
He will be giving a seminar on taiji and Chinese medicine.
